General Terms & Conditions

• We reserve the right to refuse entry to Lyneham Heath premises
• We reserve the right to refuse any booking
• We reserve the right to close the ARENAS, XC, Winter XC loop and/or SJ on grass at short notice should ground conditions or weather dictate. A full refund will be given.
• All visitors agree to pay in advance via the online booking system.
• You use the facilities at your own risk. Lyneham Heath cannot accept liability for any loss or damage in respect of your vehicle, equipment, personal valuables or property.
• Any fences, prior to jumping, must be fully inspected and due care to be taken that it is within yours and your horse’s capability.
• Every person using the facilities agrees that they do so at their own risk and voluntarily accepts the risk of injury or damage that is implicit in riding a horse on the premises.
• All persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times
• Any person using the XC facilities must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
• Hard hats to British Eventing standards must be worn at all times whilst mounted. It is recommended you wear a body protector on the XC.
• Any fences that are damaged or seen to be damaged must be reported to Sam on 07836 657 395
• All accidents must be reported and an accident form completed at the office / Shepherd's Hut.
• Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and are not permitted in any buildings on the property.
• No smoking is permitted in any buildings, stable yard areas, barns or forage storage areas.
• Placing a booking implies acceptance of the terms & conditions of hire of facilities
• Your online payments go direct to our bank account through a secure payment service provider
• Online payments will receive a confirmation of payment by email within 5 minutes of making the payment. Please contact us if you do not receive an email, having first checked your spam filter.
• All transactions and online payments are made in £ Pound Sterling
• All payments to be made online, or in the case of certain clinics, via BACS. In the rare event of a cheque being issued for a clinic, it should be made payable to ‘LYNEHAM HEATH’
• LYNEHAM HEATH shall not be liable in the event that facilities are not available due to circumstances beyond our control (owing to fire damage for example) or the facility is unsuitable for use due to sustained loss of essential services. In these circumstances, all charges paid in advance will be refunded in full but the person/organiser will have no further claim against the owner.

Refunds and Cancellations

Refund and Cancellation Policy for Schooling and facility hire:

• Login to cancel up until midday the day before your booking and receive a credit on your account for the Arenas and Grass Show Jumps, and up until ONE hour before for XC & Winter Loop. All facility use can also be edited within these time frames. To change days you will need to cancel and re-book. To edit times on the same day you can use the amend option.
• Cancellations due to unreasonable weather conditions (snow, ice, thick fog, excessive wind, driving rain) on the day of the booking will receive credit or a refund if requested.
• A request for a full refund must be made via email, NOT text or call, with a valid reason.
• PLEASE NOTE FROM MAY 2020 THE MONETARY VALUE OF YOUR CANCELLATION WILL BE CREDITED TO YOUR ACCOUNT RATHER THAN REFUNDED. This is to avoid passing on a new charge by our payment provider when they refund an account because of a cancellation. The credit will be eligible to use for 6 months from the date of cancellation.
